Cincinnati Nature Center awards Masterworks for Nature artists with highest honor...

The Cincinnati Nature Center will be honoring the Masterworks for Nature artists with their highest honor. Cincinnati Nature Center’s Wood Thrush Award was established in October 2012, with the inaugural award going to Helen C. Black for a lifetime of dedication to land conservation and stewardship.  The purpose of the award is to recognize individuals, families, organizations or businesses for significant commitment to land conservation and stewardship in the Greater Cincinnati region or with connection to the Greater Cincinnati region.

Proceeds from art sales, and ticket sales for the Wood Thrush Awards Reception benefit the Helen C. Black Conservation Fund which is used to preserve and protect Cincinnati Nature Center’s lands through land acquisition and conservation easements.

MWFN lunch Meeting at FlipDaddys

A nice reunion with most of our members at FlipDaddys in Mariemont, Ohio Tuesday 1/10/17. Christopher Walden, Mary Louise Holt, Ann Geise, DeVere Burt, Linda Howard Bittner and Debbie Lentz. We discussed upcoming group exhibitions for 2017 and 2018 to benefit organizations such as the Cincinnati Nature Center and the Aullwood Audubon Center.

Many of our artists have been excelling in their personal careers as well...winning awards, teaching and promoting conservation.
